SOC Wins On A Game Winner Field Goal

The South Oak Cliff football team traveled north of Dallas, for a non league game in the TAPPS Friday evening against Parish Episcopal(Tx.).  The Bears held a lead at halftime, but gave up 21 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter. Trailing 28-14 to start the 4th quarter the Bears scored 17 unanswered points themselves to defeat the Panthers with a game winning field goal from 43 yards, 31-28.

South Oak Cliff earns their first victory to 1-3 with the win, while Parish Episcopal falls to 3-1. Up next, the South Oak Cliff team is on the road to face Adamson Leopards for a district game Thursday, September 22 @ 7p.
